Barrie Kosky directs Die Walküre in London [cinema]
“I want to explore the idea of looking at the dreams, hallucinations, and visions of Mother Earth,” director Barrie Kosky said at the start of this Ring. He has kept his word, for once again the naked Erda (played this time by Illona Linthwaite) is the visual leitmotif throughout the performance in a silent role.
